It is a cute, short little gadget. That would be a good term for it. It would be cuter if there were some audio, but I understand this is just a little project.
Side note: that's wild that a university would require their students to post coursework on this site. I think it's cool, but it just blows my mind. I remember when this site was just crappy flash animations and games. Amazing.

I really like your style. Art style is awesome, especially the design if Paul. Also the personality's of both characters are clearly noticeable and that's nice. I will only give you 3 stars, because it's not a full game (yet) and there's no sound desing (That really bugs me).
Conclusion: Nice interactive game, but needs more content and sound design. Looking forward for the full game.
there is no audio? short but good demo for something coming i suppose
