In the first shot, yes her thumb does happened to be on the outside of her hand. But I do agree... that's no reason to give it one star. I guess the reason I didn't give it five is that there isn't anything particularly substantial about this animation (yes I'm aware that is intentional, however it is still grounds for why it's not a five star). The animation quality itself is very nice, even if it could use a bit of polishing in the shading and lighting (like anything by Kyoto Animation which is why they make some of the best looking shows ever - they've mastered that final step).
