How do Pokémon get their Names

Share Collapse

The age old question of how pokémon get their names is one that might never be answered. Is it called Snorlax because it says "snorlax" or does it just say "snorlax" because it knows its' name is Snorlax?!?

i could swear it sounds like Prof. Oak calls Takeshi "Ass" at 0:22. and it looks like the scyther is about to bury its scythe in Oak's back afterwards. coincidence or not?

anyway, nice diversity of animation and good music. cute design on bladeguy III too. ;) mlp parody at 3:37? it's not how equestria was made, that's for sure, but anyway... i did see Eye Guy in the challenge box at 3:47. honestly though, i feel more sorry for Pu'ar stuck in the cage next to the venusaur at 2:20.

They got their names the same way the pokédex entries were made, by kids and teenagers. Everyone knows that.

good animation! i wish i was talented...
also did he lock bitey in there? xd
and is ash ok?

CUPCAT responds:

Thanks, It's never too late to learn ^_^
Yes, Bitey is there and a few other non-pokémons.
Ash is just sleeping with Totoro ;)

The "Good Eye" appears a couple of times during 1:34-1:40. It's on the boulder near kabutops, just after an engraved unown message that says "YOU FOUND ME".

About the review, honestly I didn't like the overall humor very much, but I think your animation is very very good: I liked especially the interaction between the horse and the wheels with the puddle at 2:03-2:13; also the british characterization and the 19th century historical background that you tried to give deserve a compliment.

CUPCAT responds:

Thanks for the review, I agree with everything you said
Also congratulations for completing the Good eye challange!!!

Its not bad but it could be better. Why does it sound like everyone is whispering loudly lmao? I like it

CUPCAT responds:

Thanks, it's supposed to be like an David Attenborough impression, and he's always whispering ;)
