You don’t have to be dead to play this game

Another entry in the “Zombie Society” series.

Zombies have conquered the world, and they have established their own society.
It’s a lot of fun, but even zombie society has its criminals!

Meet Margh, undead private detective, and his partner Ghvnn, and help them solve the case at hand in this funny point and click adventure!

Interrogate the suspects, find clues and combine them as if they were items in your inventory, form your own deductions and find the culprit… or accuse the wrong zombie!

- Voice acting! (sort of)
- Instantaneous translation from ‘zombiesh’ to english (be warned: zombies tend to say “brain” a lot!)
- Hint system that will give you a hand when you’re stuck (simply talk to Ghvnn)
- A deduction system that will make you use your brain!
- different endings depending on your choices
- pixelated original art
- a complete walkthrough (you’ll find it in the options panel)

AUTHOR'S NOTES-------------------

Hello guys, here's a new episode!

Margh and Ghvnn get invited to a celebrity party, but things suddenly go wrong when the host's emerald eyes get stolen!

Will our dead detective find the culprit?

That's up to you!

Have fun, and let me know what you think with your reviews!

All of the ZS games are lots of fun! Only one small criticism, same as all ZS games, it's quite annoying having to wait for Margh to walk all the way acroos the screen each time to change scenes. Couldn't scene change just be instantaneous?

Muja responds:

When you click on an arrow to change location, you can click again to skip the animation and make it quicker!
Thank you for your nice review

Did you really use Minecraft Emeralds as eyes?

Muja responds:

Those emeralds are BASED on their Minecraft counterparts, but they're actually from original pixel art by Ant91 on Deviantart :)

This was probably my favorite one of this series so far. The different setting for the Zombie Society was refreshing, even if it was a classic mystery setting, so props for that.
The zombie receptionist was legit hilarious and every other element had the humor I expect from this series!

The only thing I'd point out would be that you could click on Madame Bah, Chrltt, and the commissioner separately; even though they all respond to the questions as on group. I found that a little confusing at first.

Overall, great job though!

Muja responds:

Thank you a lot! Glad you enjoyed the receptionist, I had a lot of fun writing his lines!

Played every game in this series (also it's somewhat predecesor escape the game) and they are all freaking amazing (voted 4 stars only once). I dare say this one is the best so far, I love the many clues and the unexpected fold of events, it's obvious you really put effort into this

although I do find it disappointing Margh has to sacrifice his reputation for one lousy gold digger lol

Muja responds:

Thank you a lot, I really did put some special effort in the story for this one, and I'm glad you appreciated!

Well, that's Margh for you, honest to the core and good to a fault. He doesn't mind to pay a little price to help someone else ;)

I just finished all zombie society (except for Death after Death this one which i am playing) and i love them because the charters are amazing, the story is awesome, and there are different endings, but i have one question, on average, how long does it take to make a zombie society game?

Muja responds:

Thank you for your nice review!
To answer your question, now that most of the assets and programming codes are ready to use, it doesn't take more than a few weeks to make a new episode.
The hardest part is actually to come up with the story! A good mystery is hard to come by in a world of zombies where murder doesn't exist :D
