Your work was really good. I am a fan of Pablo Neruda, just not this poem. So I feel that you'd get a great response if you applied this talent to other poems.
For my 2nd year term 2 university assignment, I had to created a Animation, 2D or 3D based on one of 7 different poems. I chose the poem 'The Men', by Pablo Neruda. I orginally was going to make this entire thing in 3D then wanted to just make the backgrounds in 3D , but have a 2D charatcer. I was advise that taking that route would alter the visual look of my backgrounds. So I decided to make the entire thing in 2D animation, which turned out better than expected, althoughI culd have improved on it more. I altered the poem to fit the time span of my animation and added additional things to set the mood of the environment. Defiantly the best visual animation I have done so far, here is my interpretation of The Men, by Pablo Neruda. Designed, animated, coloured and edited by me, Karlton Dolo.

Thanks for your response. This was a 2nd year assignment and we had many other poems. This was the only pablo neruda poem on the list of peoms assigned to us.
Cool art and animation style. I have a bit of a hard time taking the animation seriously because of it though. Some of the monologue doesn't really make a lot of sense. "Three glorious zeros floating above this one" is a weird line that doesn't make much sense. I don't get where the one zero is. You definitely have potential though, so keep it up!
Thank you for responding. The part about the three glorious zero's is actaully' Three glorious zeros that float themselves over my very own zero'. If that makes some sense.
