I'm excited to share my Late Night Work Club: Strangers film 'Departures.' I couldn't be more proud to be welcomed into the second edition of this independent anthology.

Thanks to Michal Fojcik for the amazing sound design. And thanks to everyone who helped me along the way.

Enjoy ❤️

An entire movie consisting of mind numbingly dull shape tweens depicting all the excitement airline departures have to offer. There was consistency in visuals, audio, and music as all elements flowed together very slowly, in a piece which felt like watching flies fuck.

Was that GMan?

Such a slow and suspenseful build-up, the suitcase left out in the open... was thinking that'd be the main element, but in the end I'm not sure if they even left or not. I'm not sure what really happened here. Love how abstract, yet consistent it is though, and it keeps you glued even when it's all in the details. Leaves me both enlightened and confused. All this from just the preparations of a trip; maybe all in the mind of the main character.

Even if painfully slow and rather meaningless, I still believe it's a good animation. It is original and the music just matches the tension building perfectly.

Keep it up!

I wanna see the baby now!
