Hey guys! Here's a little horror short film I made - it features a fully animated CG monster. Looking forward to hearing what you all think.

The circling around was a little too long, the monster reveal was really disappointing. Other than that, good job!

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Thanks!

Haha!, the monster is very funny xD.

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Good to hear.

The build up was ok, even if a little slow (why didn't he just push the chair?). Having more glimpses of awkward or unnerving elements would've added to the overall atmosphere. Or having the actor finally relax before the thing got him.

The monster's appearance and how it got closer to the camera was good, I liked it. However, the whole "eating your head" thing completely disrupts the atmosphere and was unnecesary, in my opinion. Just my two cents.

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Thanks dude!

Lol dkm

Great overall anticipation with the audio and shots.
The initial death scene and first monster appearance could be improved, if you were aiming for "scary". I found the last 25 seconds of the film to be more comedic than scary.
The 3D model(s) looked alright.

Good job!

MiddleFingerRings responds:

That's cool, it's meant to be scary but not taking itself too seriously. :)

The live-action build up was good.

At first glance, the monster looked like a plastic or silicone puppet.
but then in description you said it was CG.

If I could confuse your cg model with a animitronic puppet, then you got some major CG modeling skills.

Very Nice.

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Thanks a lot! Nice to hear.
