Great game so far, but "Detention" already exists; it's called "The Monkey's Paw". Aren't you worried you're going to get in trouble for plagiarism?
Four short tales of horror constructed from real life events, and urban legends.
The first story "Detention" is about a young boy trapped inside a school and an older couple who decide to interfere with fate.
In the second story "Midnight", two friends decide to break in and burglarize a desolate home, but this act of revenge turns into a nightmare after the friends realize that the owner has been expecting them.

Usually I don't go for the RPG Maker games, but this one was above average. To be honest I said, "That was just stupid" to myself several times during the Detention one. I don't say that to be rude, it's just that it felt like many things didn't need to happen, and it felt a little like filler or spooky schlock. The writing was a mix for me, nothing seemed to be humorous until James said something about spending $10 as if it were a lot of money. And in Midnight you can ask "Who are we?", to which I expected a funny answer, but it was a very blunt explanation of the circumstances, which could've been done with a narration before it started. Most things seemed pointless in the game, more so in Detention than Midnight, probably just because there was a lot more to look at. One thing that bothered me a lot that I can point out is the phone scare, it was utterly pointless, at least the random bloody hand print was sort of a hint of some evil going on around the school, but the phone was sort of just annoying. I really liked the ending of Detention (the basic story of what happened and why, not the dialogue), I just felt like there wasn't much keeping me interested for such little payoff on my end (on James' end, it was a good payoff). I'm totally going to play whatever else you put out, not necessarily because I was enthralled with the story or gameplay, but because I've put way too much time and effort into this review not to follow this up. Thanks for reading, if anyone bothered to.
Thanks for the review.
Really fun and well-made game! I love the style of the game and how simple yet intriguing the game is. Easy controls and cool characters, can't wait for the full release!
Thank you for your comments, and I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I'm hoping to release the full game around October.
It's a great game and I can't find anything wrong with it. In my opinion, it's one of my favourite games, despite the lack of jump-scares.
Thanks. I will try to add some jump-scares in the full release.
Loved the first Fear Society!
My only issue is that it's very dark and can be difficult to see doorways. Otherwise really awesome! Excited for the finished project:)
Thanks for playing. I will try to increase the lighting in certain areas that are too dark in the final build.
