ok ok Okay, if you are starting from 0%, in the future you can improve many aspects.
but if you're just starting the programming, that's fine, but I recommend that you show demos when they have some development.
feeling intrepid and stupid, i decided to upload this unfinished demo level of a simple platformer where you collect coins. i hope to upload a better demo, and eventually a full game.

Thank you, I'll remember that!
It's a start, at least.
My suggestions (though they might be already in your plans):
-make jumping more natural (a simple tap on the spacebar should bring you up enough to get over 1 or 2 blocks; in this version, tapping only gets you ~0.7 blocks up);
-give that character some hair - that'll make him way more attractive =] Believe me, main characters are one of the MAIN worries when you're making a game because they're worth big points;
-replace those numbers with bars and add some decoration to make a nice GUI (I bet you already thought of this).
The air-jump is a part of the game, but it might be taken out. That's a really good point in regard to the jump distance, though. The graphics are from open-source, so I don't know if I want to spend the time to make edits to give him hair, even though you have a great point.
I think bars are more fluid, also. Thank you for a great review of this little demo!
Come on man. You know this, in its current form, sucks.
Bwahahahaha, truth! Watch it grow.....thanks for the review all the same!
Well it's an unfinished demo.So you should wait a bit and submit an actual demo.But from what I can see it's a kinda nice looking game,doesn't look like anithing special but still nice looking.
I'll wait until I actually have a few levels done before submitting another version. I know it's pretty ordinary for a platformer, but I hope to make it at least solid. Thanks for the review!
