You've got the elements of an interesting game here, but executed very poorly. The goal is unclear, the player's abilities are not really explained, and most importantly, there is no gradual build-up that allows the player to learn what each element does, because everything is dumped into the game at once.
Present game elements one at a time. Start by handing the player an asteroid, maybe with a quick hint about how to mine it. Then present an easy enemy with a hint about how to attack it. Make sure the player has a handle on how the basic rules of the game work before adding a new element. There's plenty of time to get chaotic later.
