Shmup themed flash. The graphics are all pixel art and has a cute vibe. The gameplay needs to be tightened up. You should add sound effects and music.
PewSpacePew is a fast-paced and chaotic shmup for the PICO8 fantasy console!
UPDATE 1.3:
-Made button press prompts more understandable for people that are not familiar with the PICO8
-Added Autofire, hold X to shoot!
This is my first game, thanks for taking the time to play it!

Decent
Well well here was something good from the portal, and while it does seem to need some improvments and a few suggestive ideas, I will elaborate more on that in the review if it needs any help at all, as it was a pretty good start to a flash entry, so I do look forward to what else you can do with this, but lets move along to this interesting flash works you do have here. seems like this game could use more ship options more weapon types and such, but its a decent game regardless.

Nice! I'm raelly wating for more like that
Almost perfect, only flaw was that there were no boss fights.
Hello claydog72, thank you so much for your feedback! I was really short on time due to another project that came up so I couldn't implement a boss fight in time! My goal for the sequel to this game is to have multiple boss fights and different background for the levels!
Thanks for rating my game :)
good pixel art but the game play is wonky and the time between you hitting x and it firing is awkward.
Hello! I was asked to implement autofire multiple times due to people not liking to mash the buttons, that's why implemented the auto fire, apparently at the sacrifice of the normal firing, which I didn't realize until you pointed it out! Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
