Thanks for checking out my first Flash game, and for a person with no experience using the program, I think it went fine. There are a few layers without much polish, mostly the non-existent title page and lack of looping music. This is more for myself, but if you wanna try it, that's cool with me too! With 100 questions, it'll take you quite a long time to become a Millionaire!
Just a few remarks:
- "it isn't really meant to be played by aníone" . just no...just don't write such BS. You submitted your game so just stand by your decision.
- the four circles with the four answers are completely out of place. I mean just one look at the screen and you see that something's off here. No Flash experience needed...why are they on the edges of the screen? Also why is everything shifted to the right? There is 1 mm from the edge on the right while there is almost 1 cm on the left....
- Giving the letter of the answer after you failed the question is not really helpful. Just give us the answer.
- Roger means "I have received all of the transmission" in both military and civil radio communication.
- the "booooooo" sound is just obnoxious. If you want to punish the player then do so in a manner that serves the purpose. A short booing sound would be more than enough to do the job. This overly elongated one just pisses the player off...I had to mute the page. Look for a shorter free sound sample.
- the ratios are off in the black box. The question is in the middle and has a decent font size then the answers are there at the bottom like some dirt. Font size too small, just no formatting here..looks garbage.
Pros: I like the questions. Not too hard, not too easy.
pretty good job but some features need fixing such as the sound effects wont end after you click play again
