Two things:
Since this is a Beta that should be included in the title. I opened up this game, and because it has this huge vertical format for some reason, I didn't scroll down to the author comments. It looks like a game, so I started playing, following the instructions on the wooden signs in the game. Then I pick up two items, dig a hole, move through two rooms, and then spend ten minutes walking back and forth trying to figure out how to get past that room before realizing, "Oh, this isn't an actual game, it's just a demo with two rooms and a hallway in it". So, that's annoying, don't annoy your players. Make it clear that it's a demo, and while you're at it, put one of those wooden signs in the last room so they know when they can stop looking for progress.
(Unless, of course, there are more rooms/tunnels, and I just got stuck because I'm an idiot. In which case, that one's on me. Still, it's best to communicate with your players, especially when they're not getting a complete game.)
Item number two, I wish I could attach a screen shot to show you, but in the process of walking along and up against all of the walls to try and figure out how to progress, the game glitched and I ended up walking through the wall and out into the vast void, where it looks like I could walk along infinitely. I was able to walk to back to the starting room (but couldn't get back in through the walls), and I even found the Key and Shovel items lying on the ground out in limbo (when I tried to pick them up, they just switched places back and forth). Sooo that's something to fix.
Anyway, I like the retro graphics and there is potential, but score-wise, it's a fragment so it gets a fragment of the stars. I don't think that's unreasonable.
