This game is really good! The concept is great, and it explains its premise to the player with no tutorial, which I love. Sprite work is top stuff, and the controls are really smooth too, though I feel sometimes the level design goes against the looser controls. It could also use a little music too! The way the character slowly turns gold is a really nice touch! Does the lad you play as have a name?

Also this game would be really cool with a level editor that you could share levels through text files with!

I really enjoy the concept put I find the controls a bit tedious. Still a great game.
