Kirigami is a puzzle platformer in which you cut and realign space to create a path, so the ninja can get the star.

Use WAD (or ←↑→) to move and jump. Click and drag to cut space. Drag one part of the screen and realign to find the best path for the ninja to get his star!

Beware the bottomless pit, spiked platforms, and deadly lasers!

Par is the minimum number of cuts we could use to finish the levels. Perhaps you can find an even better solution!

As levels progress, the puzzles may get harder to solve. Enjoy the challenge!

Very nice puzzle game with never before seen (at least for me) mechanics and cool aesthetics matching the game's mechanics. The game is not easy and last few levels can be hard. The only downside is that the game is pretty short.

You know what would go well with this game? Geoplex's Windborn!

fun, creative and kinda challenging, i got par on all levels but some of them i kinda cheesed jumping and cutting the air to move the ninja , i don't know if it was suppose to get par like this, but it worked xD
Only big con is that kinda feel like a lot of the levels are too much the same, maybe new obstacles instead of just lasers and spikes? idk but overall, fun game

Had fun beating this lil' game with everything on par, and even finding ways to do a ton of them under par! (Hint: You gotta use jumping to your advantage). Your cuts have to be very precise and well placed, and you guys milked the mechanics really well for their usages. Would've been nice to have more mechanics and more levels though; maybe more focus on the platforming element as well as the cutting strategies. My last complaint, as far as mechanics goes, is a lack of visible achievement for aforementioned under-par level victories.

As for the aesthetics: I really enjoyed the music! It's simple, but a nice listen: I haven't gotten tired of it still! The art for the platforms is well done as well. I would've liked an animation or something for the ninja cutting space though, and the ninja himself is nicely done but perhaps just not that great in my opinion, he blinks too much, his walk animation is a bit boring but functional. Also noticed a bug where if you walked into a laser the walk sounds still play until time reverses. His jump is really cute though, haha! Makes sense this fat lil' ninja sucks at jumping too, considering he can just move space around and stuff in order to get to where he needs to go.

Whelp, that's my two cents. Hope you guys update it, or make a sequel!

This is incredibly frustrating, yet addictive! Good Job!
