Very good game, difficult, intense, and also the horror of being chased by that thing, very good!

I love Lovecraft, his tales and most games based horror themes. I really like the atmosphere of this game. The noises and flashlight lighting effects are very cinematic. Also due to the Antarctic and the dynamite it reminds me about John Carpenters movie the thing, another horror classic.

I am not a big fan of endless runner trough. I prefer games either having an ending or achievements that could be considered and ending. This has neither. For endless score hoarding games, newgrounds has a highscore feature, that is also sadly not used. My rating would be one star higher if this game had both highscores and medals/achievements. Of course my rating would be highest if this game had an ending. Note that games can have endless mode in parallel to having a story mode with a proper ending.

Gameplay is very nice, although once the tongue comes out, the principle of letting Shoggoth close as possible is out of question, because it is too dangerous. Somehow it needs to be balanced, maybe make the tongue warning sound time longer.

The game has a bug that sometimes doesn't start new game no matter how hard I pres space. I must refresh page then, but my hard earned money is gone then.

This game would be better if upgraded, but please don't respond saying you will upgrade this for android and tablets. I don't care for these platforms precisely because I like the immersion of big screen and surrounding of speakers. For atmospheric game like this, fullscreen mode on PC is the way to go. I hope you consider upgrading the game in this direction, too, if not then I will not be interested in further versions.

The pause button somewhat ruins the immersion for me, the text and numbers showing score and dynamite left are okay, but the pause button must be gone from PC version, I can press P button. These mobile features ruining PC experience annoy me. I really anted to give a higher score to a gem that captures the Lovecraft and horror atmosphere so well, but the mobile factor ruins the good things.

A lot of things feel unfinished/glitchy/(too mobile) with this game, my score would be 2.5 or 3 were it not so atmospheric and Lovecraftian, which is I why I give 3.5

For my part, I enjoyed this game a lot. I just love the games of this kind; simple and adictive. :)

Besides that this one in particular has a theme that I like very much: Horror. The music and the gameplay are excellent, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Great tribute to H.P. Lovecraft.
