Blue Balls is set in a 3d Strip Club I modeled while streaming live on Twitch! ► http://twitch.tv/JenniNexus Making low-poly 3d game assets is so much fun, but eventually I wanted to put them in something interactive to share with you, even if it’s just a little blurp such as this.

CONTROLS:

- WASD to move
- Space to jump
- Shift to run

You’ll see a cartoon chibi girl which took me a long time to model! I rigged, skinned & got her animated here in Unity, but what you don’t see yet, is the facial animations I also did.. That will come in a later version.

For now, a Halloween-themed teaser, for my favorite time of year. :-) Walk around with blue balls in the strip club and smash pumpkins before the time is up! See how many you can get and how fast. Laugh at my cheesy art, and appreciate the song ironically also named “Blue Balls” which I found here on NG. Check out the musician & give him some support here ► https://chead86.newgrounds.com

I’ve been here on Newgrounds for quite a while now, but this is my 1st self-made 3d WebGL game I’m happy to share with you! My partner has been giving me Unity lessons but my favorite aspect of game-making has been making 3d art, so that’s been my main focus. The only model I didn’t make here is the destructible pumpkin.

Hope you will be kind enough to rate & leave constructive feedback, but keep in mind I’m still quite a noob at game dev. I’m a sensitive flower, so hope u take it easy but let me know how I can improve my skills :-D

Stay in touch if you’re curious about future projects, collabs etc!

Thanks for playing.

Nice & fluidly animated pumpkin explosions! Probably the best halloween game this year!?

jenninexus responds:

Thanks for playing & for the words of encouragement! I guess the fine print in the description kind of gets lost in my mass of text haha oops, but yeah the only 3d art I didn't make myself in the game (so far) is the cute pumpkin! Got that off the Unity Asset store just in time to release this as a festive teaser for future renditions. Cheers!

Hey, congrats on the game! This is a simple and fun concept and I like the theme(i'm a sucker for anything Halloween lol). Its far from perfect, and I hope you add more eventually but for now this works as a quick little game with a kick ass name lol.

jenninexus responds:

Heya !!! Thanks for playing & glad you played and thought it was fun - thanks for taking the time to leave a review too. Looking forward to future renditions and learning more about how to write code :-D

its stupid that the camera moves with your mouse and your mouse does not lock on to the screen, the balls sometimes goes through the pumpkins, why is there random people walking around, its good that it does give you an objective

jenninexus responds:

Heya - first off, thanks so much for bothering to try it and x-tra thx for leaving feedback. My logic of the camera movement linked to the mouse is my affinity for freedom in 3d games and the feel of an open world. I did my best to make the ball collide with the pumpkins precisely but may not be perfect. & to answer your last Q: I only had time to finish 1 3d chibi model for this version #1 before Halloween weekend was over (personal deadline). But in the future I aim to make more character variations to include, enable the facial animation (I made 13 heads for lip-sync) and a whole low-poly neighborhood. Just for fun. ;-) Glad you liked the objective aspect and thx again for playing!

Hilarious! Great work, especially since this is your first 3D game. I know how hard it is to complete a 3D game (especially since I haven't finished one yet) so kudos! I feel like hosting games like these should be a natural progression for Newgrounds, especially since flash is being slowly phased out, and 3D indy games are becoming more the norm. I feel like games like these are a step in the right direction for NG, and makes me want to finish some unity games that are currently collecting dust :p

jenninexus responds:

Yay, hey thanks for an optimistic outlook & the positive feedback :-D I'd love to see what hidden gems you have collecting dust. Let me know if you need a voice actress for any of them! Haha. I love this site so much (and Flash art) but since I don't have a nice drawing pad yet but I do have a computer to box model with, is prob my main reason for going towards 3d. I resubscribed to my supporter status cuz I <3 NG so much.
