Awesome video with a great message. And I really like your animation style
Thanks for the kind words :)
Another nice work!!!
Heh... I understand you mate, I've struggled with that kind of thoughts, too... They started to ruin my life so bad that 3 years ago I started going to therapy. Now things are getting better...
The impostor syndrome is a real pain in the ass... no matter how many achievements I "unlocked" in my life, I always thought myself as a failure: like I was unable to see my own successes. And I thought the same as you: "it's only a matter of time, before people discover that I'm not as good as they thought". But things are changing... slowly, but without stopping. Glad that you've come out of it!
Not gonna lie and say that im a totally happy person without any self-doubt now, but realising what what's happening has helped me get out of those depressing states, which happen less often now.
Sometimes I wish that I could draw to get my fantasy creatures on paper, but then I go back to writing. Some day I'll write a book or two...
If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would do it...
I can feel very identified with this situation; being me a person who has tried to do many things, from writing horror stories to creating animations and other kind of stuff, feeling like a total failure even though people liked my content. I saw the work of others and I felt that mine was not worth it.
This happens to me even today with the drawings that I upload to Deviantart and this site... It's pretty depressing.
I thank you very much for this video, It has helped me a little.
I just need to say, that the animation is very cute.
Sorry for the bad english...
hahaha dont worry, your comment feels more than 5 stars :p
If the video helped you even a little bit in making you feel better about yourself, that's good enough for me.
Just try to use your disliking of your art, as fuel to get better (i know that's easier said than done, but i bet right now you are better than you were a year ago, so you just gotta be patient and you'll get to where you want to be)
Glad you liked the animation too :)
Oh my god. I can relate to this right now. Really lovely put video. :)
Thank you :)
Hope you dont let self-doubt stop you
