Entertaining
You know I'm a fan, but this one really felt phoned-in...
It's like you're at the point where you need to be wrapping a few things up and tying things together, but aren't quite committed to taking that final plunge yet. I dunno.
Duuuuuuuuude, not to crowd on your style but you should really humanize your voices more-this series is pretty cool. Might I suggest not trying too hard to give a voice an accent? Let the voice be as natural as possible, so it sounds more authentic... (I dont mean the indigenous accent, I mean more the attempt at sounding older or bigger through voice, like trying to imitate your dad or something.) Hire an older actor if possible, have him speak like he speaks to a friend.
On another note? The acting... Maybe try standing up while you talk? It will let your voice fall through more, Then you'll actually display honest feelings rather than fake them. They'll sound like they are genuinely displaying that urgency in the tone of voice that should be there but isn't. (Your characters are a tad bit monotone.)
And finally the voices don't blend with their backgrounds, they all sound like they are in an office. Even when the dude's outside.
(I know this sounds silly) If I may suggest, if you want to start a scene at the end of a running sprint, or at the end of a walk across town, before recording, actually do some jumping jacks until you are ACTUALLY out of breath, animate it in, (the character breathing heavily, not the jumping jacks.) even if its a quick gesture.
Just... don't get so out of breath that you can only spit out a word every 3 seconds between breaths. Just do it enough to get that tone of voice.
Experiment and see what works, Once you do that, the different tones or moods of the voices you act, will sound genuine.
( like being scared or preoccupied, angry, out of breath and annoyed, out of breath and happy, tired, sleepy, scared, terrified worried, concerned, vengeful or vindictive grudges, desperation, loss, despair victories-etc.) And they'll come out more naturally.
Otherwise dude good job maen you rock :3
I really love this series...yet its sometimes very confusing.
