Catnip is a hell of a drug

well that was eerily disturbing

Not bad but trying to capture being high on ANYTHING is an art form unto itself in animation. This just lacked the more feline feel considering I have a friend who grows catnip and her cats get the rubs and then they bliss out.
High points (LOL) were the red eyes and the weird staring. The story itself flowed naturally and it was not insulting, over the top, or "reefer Madness" outlandish. Also you did have the cat rub his face with it. That is exactly what cats to with Catnip.
Low point. It became too humanized. A little was not bad but maybe (based PURELY on my opinion and nothing else) it should have had more cattitude. You could have played up on the feline moment of bliss involved in rubbing catnip. While others could have had that prohibitionist puritan attitude as did the cat with the squirrel on a leash the shock value could have been more in him having very bad munchies and having a bucket of mice in his lap hogging out with glowing red eyes (very classic munchie humor).

Still overall a decent view for sure. It didn't become weirdly and completely absurd. You did capture some of the bliss of catnip in a very nice manner. It just was a long stretch crossing it over with Marijuana humor.
