I thought I would attempt to animate "Mickey to Tiki Tu Meke" by New Zealand artist Dick Frizzell

In Polynesian mythology, tiki was the first man. Polynesian carvings of people are often called tiki. The word varies depending on where you are in Polynesia, Tiki in New Zealand Māori, Cook Islands Māori, Tuamotuan, and Marquesan and as tiʻi in Tahitian and even kiʻi in Hawaiian.

Dick Frizzell is a New Zealand artist who made a lithograph called 'Mickey to Tiki tu Meke'. This has become a best selling print in New Zealand. It has a cartoon 'Mickey Mouse' changing in stages to a 'Tiki.'. I tried to remake it and bring it to life through this short animation.
