I work the deli/bakery. Depending upon which section I'm working, I get a few recycled lines from customers, but we also have our own register, so I, too, hear the line every single time something doesn't scan properly. It's obnoxious, but it's actually the least irritating thing I have to tolerate.
I commend you. I could never stand cleaning that place out every night.
