For those of you who don't know, a hoplite soldier fought for the ancient Greeks. They carried long spears and a large wooden shield, called a hoplon.
I was drawing a hoplite soldier for my Greeks teacher, and suddenly I had the desire to make it more violent. So, I brainstormed, and this was the result. I did all of the sound effects myself, except for the scream and the skidding.
I plan to turn this into a series, depending on the feedback I get.
