Pretty good. Definitely worth finishing. Add a story and such before submitting. You're off to a decent start.
Well then, in all honesty I felt as though I did well for a first real sprite animation... but "OH MY GOODNESS what was that ending!?" Some people might be asking.
Funny story is I actually should have put this through an editing program to fix the problem to where it just cuts out into a blank background and I honestly have no idea why I didn't truly consider that until now, as I'm currently creating the description. But all things considered, lets now move on to who the character is and where I got the sprites, and the program I used.
The sprites are from a game known as (and please don't go running around googling sprites for this yet) Maplestoy! But If you want these specific sprites, then your looking for a program called BannedStory4, "The ultimate maplesimulator"! you can find that here!

Also, I made use of their plethora of Clothes and assets to create Minari, which is this parkour maniac who I plan to use later down the long line of animations to come.
[[[[----HOW THE SPRITES WORK----]]]]
They don't come in one sheet, the sprites come in folders with multiple emotes and actions (page by page) with a blank background for easy use.

remember everyone, I'm new here and i'm still only turning 14... all criticism, advice and tips for better animation is very much required for the betterment of my skills and development, thank you.
Man... This was pretty choppy...

Gotcha!
What's there was good. There's just not anything there. Please finish.
understood. I forgot to mention ths was also just a physics test too. My bad
Good artwork and directing, it was a little too short and too abrupt for me personally, but overall I think you did a great job. Keep it up dude!
Thank you! I'm going to re-edit this later telling everyone that this was technically just a jump-physics test. But THANK YA NONETHELESS
Hmm... so all of these sprites aren't made by you, you just use them to make this animation? (I just want to establish if I should look at the sprites itself too)
I know most of it was on purpose but you could move your camera further away from the character... it's too close and if camera follows the character who moves quite fast it might be harder to appreciate the animation because it feels like your eyes have to even grasp where the character is on the screen.
Good luck with your animations.
It's actually REALLY weird... you know the "character customization" thing in certain video games? that's pretty much what it is. So each pixel wasn't individually crafted BUT each part (hair, face, eyes, mouth, ect) was custom made by me, and the creation engine works so that you don't have to give credit to the program.
Short answer being, no, I am afraid not. No ands-buts-or execptions. It was made off the character creation engine "BannedStory"
AND THANK YA SO MUCH FOR ASKING!!! ;)
i'll try to answer all questions in the future
It's alright for your 1st animation. The pixel animation is good and everything, but something this small belongs on the Dumping Grounds rather than submitting it under judgement. Besides that, keep up the good work!
VERY true, I will now keep that in mind (then i'll look for the dumping grounds)
Thank you so much!
