It got me very invested in just a few minutes. Very well done! Music, pacing, transitions, everything's on point. Characters felt tridimensional.
Far From The Reef
I started this on the first of June planning to complete it by the end of the month. If the story doesn't leave a good taste, it's because I wrote it in two days. Besides that, I had a lot of fun making this! Finally something that's not with regular, boring people with 90s voices. I hope you enjoy!

A delightful and weird little drama. Your animation and interactions really brought out the characters, and I particularly liked your muted backgrounds. This is excellent storytelling.

Wow, thanks! I didn't think this was a great story to begin with, but I'm really glad you thought so (then again, I've seen this way more times than any sane man should, so I don't know what I'm talking about).
I really like marine life and understated dramas, so the combination of the two really worked for me. The more fluidly animated parts looked good, and I especially like your choice of music. The only thing I have to say is that the voice acting could've used a little more polish.
I'm happy that I watched this, and I'm looking forward to more of your movies.

I'm guessing that you've seen Finding Dory since you're into marine life too. So here's a neat fact: I was really hoping that this wouldn't seem like some weird parody of Finding Dory since it had just come out. Your comment just made me realize it's actually different enough for it to be its own thing. Thanks NerdyBandit! And thanks for going into specifics about what you liked and didn't like :)
