My final piece animation made for my art foundation course. We had 9 weeks to complete this one, so really hope y'all like it, it was pretty fun to make! There was also a mini comic I created to go alongside this animation which I've uploaded to my blog.

I won't lie, at the beginning I was getting a little bored and tempted to choose another video. But the atmosphere that came in was really cool and the message in the end made me like it a whole lot more than I did before. Just for the message alone, I appreciate this video!
Thanks! Yeah, as it was an animation for uni, I was mainly focusing on atmosphere and the message (and y'know, finishing it in time...) But yeah, I'll try to work on pacing for future animations. Thanks for your feedback! :)
Hey that was really nice! The concept was relatable and interesting. You've obviously spent a lot of time on making your straight ahead animation and you used some pretty cool techniques along the way. My main piece of advice is to try avoid using gradients for colouring in background elements i.e your trees and even the barn. Generally, they're not particularly nice aesthetically and I don't think they complemented your style very well. They felt a little out of place. Also maybe try a little bit of shadow on your characters, I reckon it would go a long way to improving your animations' visual style.

Thank you! Yeah, most of the shading came down to what was most time effective, as it was a uni project with annoying time restraints, but I'll try and work on improving shading in future animations. Thanks for your feedback! :)
