Yeah, this was worth waiting.
However, only issue that I have is that
characters eyes are on top of their hair.
Their hair is supposed to cover their eyes.
Its just tiny little detail however.
I like your designs, everything looks really cool, but something really falls flat as far as watchability. The humor and beats seem very borrowed from anime, it doesn't feel natural at all. The cartoon has this vibe about it that you were just trying to create "anime" as a broad concept and weren't thinking much farther than that. The writing needs more of the personality that the character designs have; just food for thought. The episodes could also stand to have a complete thought, it's one big story but nothing's really happened yet; some amount of closure in each episode would be nice, I just get the feeling that the next 4 years are going to be spent with old girl fighting her possessed friends in the street. Just felt like a trailer for more episodes.
The last thing I watched that gave me this sort of feeling was the Nazo Unleashed series. I haven't felt that sort of hype in years!
Seriously solid work! :D Now to go backwards and watch part 1.
The only sort of artistic criticism I could offer is the sheer quality of the animation at points, but that isn't enough to take away from the experience!
This was super freaking good dude! Animations like these are the reason I love Newgrounds so much.
Awesome job! Quality fell a bit at some parts, but damn it was so enjoyable to watch! Keep up the good work, I look forward to other stuff.
PS. Mad props to you for actually finishing the project, people might not know but crashes and losing files kills a project very quickly, respect.
