'de paardevis' is the dutch translation for horsefish. It is a rare fish from the undeep ocean of the Belgian coast. Few people have been catching the 'paardevis', but those who have, know how tasty it is to eat one raw.
De paardevis is een bedreigde vissoort van onze noorderzee. Het mag niet verwardt worden met de zeepaard. Men herkent de paardevis aan zijn geluid en zijn gemeenschappelijke voorouders met de paard.
To be honest, this is a weird way to depict animal cruelty, because what if the guy was hungry and that was one of the few fish he caught? When survival is on the line, it doesn't matter to anyone who dies or lives, as everyone will try to kill each other for survival. There's no right or wrong in such a scenario. But I do get your point. Well made animation!
