This animation hangs on a shot for a while because I'm both lazy and bad at everything. This is my first time using flash ever so forgive me for poor editing.
This is way better than my first flash, just sayin'.
One thing I would advise, though, is that you rely less on sweeping shots and do more animating. It doesn't have to be 60fps fluent, but people will appreciate the effort.
First and foremost, though, you succeeded in telling a story, which is way more than can be said for most first-timers, including myself.
Keep chugging along.
