Well presented..!!! Alien character is really well done. except for some timing in the bounce, the Hovering effect and Glow looks really good. I look forward to more longer animations from you in the future... :)

Thanks, Shade!

Ah, that's a great rendition of the bouncing ball in a cute short skit :-D Love your earthly character, he could pass as a tribal shaman or ..? I started a bouncy ball submission but it's turned out to be more practice than anything else, maybe I'll have something to post by the 15th - glad to c u in the biweekly animation forum - fun!

newgamingspies responds:

Thanks again! It feels awesome having someone appreciate my skit. I'll be expecting your animation too. If you're really interested in animation in flash and or other softwares, I'll do my very best to help you. (Yh, but I think the creature could stand as an elemental spirit or something...)

I hated this, until the awesome alien appeared and used his telekinetic powers!

newgamingspies responds:

Thanks for your response, dude. It's been a very long time since I did a bouncing ball. Everyone seems to be focusing on character animation and voice-acting and music that some of us forget to do this. I dunno if I might have the opportunity to do this again but I really enjoyed doing this.(for my cute earth creature, who, by the way, doesn't look alien-ly to me...that's why i gave it a leaf wrappings around its body...)

It's interesting how well-done the alien looks compared to the rest of the animation. The bouncing is really awful. Make sure the ball really slows down when it reaches its point of equilibrium in freefall. A background would be nice too.

For this being as short and simple as it is, even a perfect animation wouldn't have gotten more than 3.5/5.

Thanks for the review. I didn't really understand the last part of the comment. I guess I have to work harder. This is my first bouncing ball after a veerrry long time. I really appreciate your time taken to review it! Thanks!...though i really wish to win...
