This is my animation project for school, it's about a mother who abandons her child in order to go dancing, it's an old Norse song, so I didn't really write it, I tweaked it a bit so it may differ from the actual song. I'm sorry for the bad animation quality, I did all of it in under 3 hours, including editing and backgrounds. All of them.
I was under allot of pressure, and depression didn't help, so I left it rot, then in the hours I decided to finish it.

that what I was going for ^-~
Very good animation. If you could find another royalty-free soundtrack that better suits it, I would use that. The wolf could be animated like the people are, because when you do the animation of the wolf, it ends up looking like the raccoon from dick figures. 3.5 stars.
I could ask someone for a knockoff, but this version is the version that made me want to do it
for only 3 hours this is absolutely fantastic, and honestly the simple characters could just as easily been a stylistic choice, rather than a practical time saving one: the simplicity and lack of colour (for the most part) really alienates the characters from their environment; and one can sometimes feel alienated from the outside when in grief: so it adds to the effect.
I would've rated this higher but I didn't like the part with the wolf: I would have liked it more if you saw only the wolf's shadow, or the wolf was in the same style as the mother and child. Having the wolf turn up looking like that took me out of it, how different the wolf's style is from the baby's.
Thanks! The lack of colors was actually on purpose, I could have opted for colors but I thought "No, this is sad, black and white that shit"
Moral of the story:
Don't leave your child alone in the wild :D.
Pretty much!
