This was a gigantic side project for me, with production on it starting as early as January. Being a big fan of both shows, I felt I had no choice but to make this epic 30 second cartoon. Practically everything you see in this cartoon (minus the title card and a few background layouts) was entirely created (and recreated) by myself. The crisp lines and believable animation took entire days of time to draw, and I was an absolute perfectionist throughout the project. I just hope my hard work paid off, because this was an absolute blast to animate.

Thanks to my colleague and great friend Katie Fahringer for providing the title card sketch. Here's her art blog, she's amazing! http://turquoise-art.tumblr.com/

What was that screaming music at the end, I was digging it.

Sketchead responds:

A remix I made called "Grunkle Boogie"! There's a download link in the description.

I know that most of these animators know each other but when were these two creators ever interacting?

Was this a comic-con thing?

Sketchead responds:

It was during a Nerdist podcast. You can listen to the full thing via the link in the description.
