Filmed in Xiamen, China i 2013 as part of an Artist Residency, this short movie is my first step at directing and producing a dance film, with (hopefully) more to come in the future. The film was shot entirely on location with an iPhone 4 (the best equipment I had available.

Animation is the disease. I am the cure.
It feels a little melodramatic and amatuerish at points (the zoom in on that guy in the beginning looks like it wasn't a camera zoom, but just resizing the video; it comes out blurry), but that's not anything that takes away from the wholeness of it too much. I like the couch scene; it's pretty silly.
And I'm pretty sure that Newgrounds is for animation, music, and illustrations only, but it's nice to see live-action on this site because of just that.

Yes, the video is resized, I was aiming on an iPhone 4 with the stock apps, so I didn't have much to work with. Thanks for the encouragement
I won't lie, the music isn't my cup of tea. That's just me. Although, what really could use some work is how you made this music video.
Often, there is mostly walking and the emotions aren't powerful enough. I mean the woman is running away from the guy as he comes across as a stocker, but there needs to be more action. You could have shown the guy coming really in her space and then, the woman losing it and pushing him away.
There could have been more of a story. It's not that bad, but in terms of interest, it lacks a few things.

- Not enough acting
- Not enough story
- Not enough emotions
- Not enough complications
Last one is important. You call your music video, "It's Complicated!" I don't see anything complicated in it. So far it just looks plain and simple.
The guy is stocking this woman, the woman is running away from him, and then, she gets enticed with this other guy and the stocker is left alone.
