Man, great storytelling! I think craigslist horror could be a genre/sub-genre to itself.
I got permission from Mr. Nightmare to animate his stories! something a bit more serious than my other two cartoons.
Credit to Mr. Nightmare for the story and audio, here's the link to the original video: https://youtu.be/eJOdvWxW7Cc
I also tried harder on this one compared to my others. I hope you all like it.

Yeah that's how you get shot. Craig's list is just a bunch of junk and murders. Good job on the movie though.
Hehe, thanks! great review it made me smile.
Nice work man.
Thanks, hopefully I'll be able to do more soon!
The title alone was captivating enough to make me watch the movie. I could tell things were going south once the line "I had $3,500 cash in my pocket" was uttered. I give the man credit for walking to the back of the house AFTER hearing the phone ringing inside and seeing an ominous figure staring at the back door. I would have been like "Nope, I'll pay an extra $1,000 for the car 20 minutes away" and high-tailed it out of there. Great job on the movie, but the voice work could have been a little less calm and more scared/paranoid to bring the watcher even more into the situation.
Hello, thank you for the great response! The story captivated me too that's why I wanted to animate it. The voice work is from a video "3 True Craigslist Horror Stories" by Mr. Nightmare on YouTube. l (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJOdvWxW7Cc) and he puts up scary stories, countdowns and such. I think that's his style of telling them but I agree if it was a little more panic-y then it would seem more real.
And of course after all was done i decided to not call the police.
Haha, I know right? Or ''I heard a sound downstairs... so I investigated it alone"
