I remade this chapter for two reasons:
One, I fell off the planet. No one knew where I went. I want to reach out and find all you fans once again and promote the Kickstarter campaign to fund the final chapter of this classic series FFF:Animus (link is in the credits and my profile). I mean to finish this series with your help.
Two, to improve the setup for the story. This remake better explains minor details to start you off in the series. And adds in some features that the hardcore fans would appreciate. Good thing I learned to program right?
Some new Content (WARNING: Spoilers)
Cecil was a close second to be revived by the sole Phoenix Down later in the series. I had run a vote on the series website to let the fans decide who would come back to life. Many fans have wanted to know how the series could have been if Cecil were revived. I had only planned so far as a dialogue between Cecil's Dark and Light self to start off that chapter. It was never published since he lost the vote. So I've edited it and added it in here as new content. It explains why he chose to do what he did, and shows us that he wasn't immune to the ancients influence and that the Dark and Light within all of the heroes will be tested as the series continues.

Excellent remake, loved the entire series. Its just too bad so many of us went to Youtube and missed this announcement, I would have shared the fact that the final episode was being made with friends and spread it around social media to draw up attention. Well, if you ever want to give it another shot, let me know.

Man this sucks, I find out that my most favorite series, after being on hiatus for almost a decade, has come back. Only to find out that it will not be continuing, because of a failed campaign, I hope you still decide to finish the series, I really do, I've been craving the ending since I was a little kid.
As for the episode, it was great, the added scenes with Cecils inner conflict were nice new additions. The animation is obviously far more superior compared to the first episode. And the fact that you toned down on the humor aspect in comparison to the first episode, just adds to the complete, dramatical feel of the overall series.
I really hope you still decide to conclude this amazing series.
It's great to see you back in action, I remember watching FFF when I was younger and your storytelling, music selection, and flash animations blew me away. You had a unique story (way before Dissidia) and it was a pleasure seeing the plot unfold while your skills developed as well. I especially enjoyed the fast-paced sprite action that nobody seemed to rival for a long time. Lots of us are grateful that you are back and intend on finishing your awesome series. Keep it coming!
