I'm sure this was great when it was released, but it is too rough around the edges to play in 2023. Not to mention how easy it has become to play the classic via emulation.

it lacks the finesse of the NES design and later games. the enemies die in a couple of hits while the NES has a one hit kill. the NES version also didn't look like crap. nice tribute though.

All it did was make me want to play the original.
