This was cool! The monsters animation was pretty good and his confusion to the hug of the person was pretty funny. Some parts the animation could've been exaggerated to get across the point, like when the person laughs making them bob up and down can get it across better. Sound effects brought it alive but try changing them up a bit, like changing the pitch or slowing it down, to make it sound a bit less stereotypical as those sound effects are pretty popular. Other then that, really charming and I loved the monster animation. Keep it up!

A good little short. I like the fact that you have kept it as just black and grey line art on a white background for the esthetic simplicity it gives.

If it was me though I would have been tempted to animate some kind of visual gag happening in the background, possibly on the shelves. Some of the liquid gets on a teddy bear from the explosion who probably comes to life and get's down from the shelf. Just a little additional background thing to notice.

Keep them coming, you clearly have some skill at frame by frame animation.
