I've also responded some comments and I think I did a fair job of explaining myself there too:

I really wish more people would read the appeal I put in the description of the video...

I didn't mean for this to blow up like it did, and I really didn't mean for it to be anything more than a practice animation. For some reason, I submitted it and first thing I know is that it made the front page. Please read what I posted in the description...I don't ever mean to make people truly mad, so it kind of saddens me to see that everyone hates it so much. I know it's an old joke, I know everyone makes Pokemon parodies. It was the whole point of me making it. I'm really in to meta humor and so the idea that something this stupid got so popular in and of itself is hilarious to me...I so welcome constructive criticism about my animation technique, because I'm not good yet and entirely self taught...but to see countless people tell me that the joke is over done or that I wasted my time....it's not so nice to see. I'm kind of sensitive so I take these things to heart...I'm not making you guys watch it...I guess I could ask if it can be taken down or I could delete it, but I did spend time on it and I want to be able to have it on my account...

I'm sorry you feel that way, I'm trying to respond to people who are saying things like this. Please see my response to Slareen. Also, please read the appeal that I wrote: http://fatmermaid.newgrounds.com/news/post/921552

I'd like to say that no animation, no matter how terrible or ugly or unfunny it is, is a waste of time to me. No matter how many negative reviews this has gotten, I will never think that it was a waste of time. I always ALWAYS try to better myself in every way I can, and the reason I made this was to practice. I didn't submit it to be put in the features content...I didn't expect it to blow up...I actually expected it to not be accepted.

No animation is a waste of time. Every one is a learning experience, and every animation is an opportunity to grow and for me to learn from others how I can improve. Each animation helps me to get better and better until I think I am good enough to make the things I really want to make. I'd like to make meaningful animations that make people feel very strong emotions, as I do on a day to day basis, but I don't think I'm good enough yet to make the things I'd really like to make.

So please, even if I can reach only a few people...I hope you read what I've written and I hope you know that I really do take these things to heart, and that saying things like this without telling me HOW I can improve, it doesn't help me to get better so that can get to a point where I actually make things you all can enjoy.

Thank you.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Ok its fire

creepy but true

should've get in the fucking ball

nice animation dude, btw do you use adobe flash? or toon boom?

I personally thought that it was relatively done overall.
Graphics: I liked the animation. It was smooth and fairly well-drawn. +1
Voices: The voices, while not perfect, weren't bad at all. I liked them. +1
Length: I felt that the only thing this animation really needs is a bit more length. A cartoon like this would've been much better if, say, there was more of a debate between the two. +0
Humor: As I said, it needs more jokes. Not much really happened, and it seems like not enough time was put into the dialogue, etc. +.5
P.S. Watching this was NOT a waste of my time. Animating this was also not a waste of your time. There's one thing you need to know about the comment system, and it's this:
TROLLS ARE EVERYWHERE. Tom Fulp hates them. I hate them. Everyone hates them. Even the trolls. Just ignore them. Don't add things to your description; you're just feeding them. You're making them happy. Acknowledging a troll lets them know that they got their message across, and trust me... nobody wants to see a happy troll.
Good luck with your animations in the future; I'll be happy to watch them!
