Cool little short, not too scary but creepy all the same.
After almost 30 years I am revisiting animation. There are so many tools that are available now that were not available in the 80's. I recently downloaded anime studio debut 10. I am experimenting with it. This clip is an airbrushed illustration I imported and tweaked with the bone tool. I added the spiral background I got off you tube. The music was created by myself using cool edit and my Yamaha keyboard. I also did the vocal laugh.

This is trippy lol. Nice work
i feel like some people in the review section are being a bit harsh to your work; yet they don't seem to understand what experimental art is.
i would like to more from this character in the future
5 stars for the effort and creativity.
Plus you did every thing yourself and i think that i really cool.
Um sure why not.
4 stars because I really don't like that clown. :O
oh you have a spot of coulrophobia I see...4 STARS! wow, thanks.
I think it's great that you are experimenting with new animating styles and techniques. I think that really helps animators learn. I also give you alot of credit for making your own music. That gives you alot of credibility. I thought the graphic was great, very well drawn. Music was great, quality was good, and it helped set the mood.
However I wish it wasn't just a shape tween. I didn't really feel the emotion I think you were trying to capture. I think it would have helped your case if there was a story behind it, maybe some narration even. I think a story can really make or break an animation, and this animation was lacking in it. If you wish to submit experiments, I think they should go under "Dumping Grounds" (http://www.newgrounds.com/dump) and I think it should be left out of the portal.
Didn't mean to come off as mean or rude. That wasn't my intention. Don't give up, you certainly have the skills to become a great animator.
