I enjoyed this flash, especially those little Eddsworld references you put there such like Powl's gun. There were some flaws though: timing errors, occasional poor animation moments and very inconsistent backgrounds ranging from nice to what's this CGI doing in a 2D flash to oh you just slapped a photo on it.

DonutStudios responds:

Thank you for your advice and compliment, but about the backgrounds, that was indeed included in the beginning Warning. Originally, it was supposed to be all real backgrounds like The Amazing World of Gumball or Sit Down, Shut Up, but that can run into complications.

What an awesome flash! It was full of the simple random-based humor that I like. Not only that, the story was alright, and while it did give me a chuckle I still think it could have had a little more to it. But it was still good in my eyes.

Your animation was good, but it seems just a LITTLE bit choppy. That was only the actual character movement though. Their mouth movement was great though.

Plus I really enjoyed your artwork and character design. Plus the use of real-life backgrounds wasn't a bad choice at all. I personally feel like it fit into the animation well.

Keep up the good work!

haha lol I liked this, the animation was smooth and had a nice background and the ending scene was funny lol hope that guy was ok sounded like he took a serious beating..... he woke up and everyone was over him sayin DAMN YOU JUST GOT KNOCKED DA F%$^ OUT SON.... LOL :) Happy New Year and thx for the animation :)

The story was pretty ok but the use of real photos as backgrounds just seem lazy and the animation could use more inbetweens

if you are going to use photos as backgrounds trace them to match the art style of the characters or draw the characters in a way to match the background

DonutStudios responds:

Actually, the real backgrounds are used in the story. The story shows that the world was originally all real and stuff, until the magic paintbrush turned the world's population into cartoons, but not the world. The real life/cartoons style is inspired by things like 'The Amazing World of Gumball', 'Sit Down, Shut Up', and 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'
