It's a good start!

Being :04 seconds long, there isn't as much to review. But from what I do see, you got the starting basics right. You have an alright background, cool little worm, and give a good movement look and feel to the worm crawling around this desert. Not only that, but by adding the extra shrub that passes by as the worm crawls really made an addition to the effect. Also, kudos on making the shadow move with the worm and not just stay as one non-moving shadow.

But for next time there are a few things I'd suggest.

- Make the movie longer, or in other words, don't submit a "test". Rather, add some more and make it into a "short".

- Add more movement to the worm/shadow. This will touch up a little more detail.

- Also, adding little effects to the background could help. Such as have the shrubs move a tiny bit, or sand blowing around (depending on the scenery).

But above all it's a great start! Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what you'll have next.

Why was this magical?

Not bad at all.

As a test, it's ok. As an animation in the Portal, it's lacking. It needs a story to make it complete, and 4 seconds is just not enough. What you have so far looks great, tho, so yeah, please continue!

With that being said, please don't submit tests or unfinished things to the Portal. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.
