I have always enjoyed these multidirectional games and from the top down view it's a fun and great game

You are a rebel fighter pilot in a Steampunk era. Your mission is to defeat the Empire's fighter planes to help liberate the country from the viscous empire.

Yep... totally great. Nice smooth gameplay and easy to get the hang of. Could use some more plane upgrades though, I was fully upgraded halfway through and couldn't get any further. Maybe that's just me though.
Overall this game was awesome, haven't seen many of these top-down plane shooters in Flash... if any! Both turning and moving the plane by use of the mouse feels a bit strange though, I imagine control via arrow keys and aim/attack via the mouse would work better, in that you could move your aim freely without it affecting the vehicles momentum. Though, good fun as it is too. Keep it going!

The game is nicely done, but I´ve got something that bothers me. I know that the controls are supposed to be challenging, but even with practice I still keep bumping into the enemy´s airplanes. Everything else is just fine (graphics, music,....)
