Controls explained ingame.
I made this game as a birthday present for my cousin. Originally there is a story evolving around the character, but I cut it out of this official version because of privacy issues.
I hope that you guys will like this, it is my second and last attempt on a short/easy game before I will try to create a longer point and click adventure. Critique is welcome!

great game
A short but enjoyable game. Can't seem to find a mute button though =/
I like the gameplay overall, simple graphics and a plotless yet still addicting venture through a strange world, yet the thing about how going through certain doors takes you back to a previous 'level' or the start of the level, I don't really like that. Would be nice with a more logical layout, not necessarily linear, but one were you constantly progress, and the challenges would lie more in reaching/opening/unlocking doors than finding the right one. Still a good game though!

Surprisingly enjoyable for a "short/easy game". Should you only spend more time to polish your work, I bet it would eventually land on the Newgrounds' front page. While I generally enjoyed the gameplay, , dull backgrounds and practically non-existent character animation soon became tiring to me - not to mention the annoying main tune. Why don't you consider a collaboration with someone to create brand new flashy visuals?
Also, I think I found a bug here: when my jetpack trooper touches a wall, I simply can't make him double-jump. Please try to fix that, unless it's a feature you planned deliberately to make your game more difficult ;-)
thanks!
Yes, the thing with the polishing is something i was not very happy with either ^^
I just had to finsih this game in time for my cousins birthday ( <- bad excuse for being lazy) and i have to learn a lot about animation/music/design, but it are nice comments as yours which make me try harder!
ah, yes the wall/jetpack problem... I thought i fixed that... well...
