2. Bonuses will help you avoid the enemies.

i had no control over where it grew making this less of a puzzle and more of trying to stop a machine gun with my face. there is absolutely no control over where you can go, try going down: it goes to the side. try going up: it'll go down or to the side. and then you get nagged about how you couldn't collect all the items making this annoying as all hell.
