The fact that it looks like one of Mandelbrot's fractals does not mean that it is, indeed, a fractal. Just check the definition: if you zoom on a fractal, you will see the exact same thing (it's s terrible simplfication of the definition, but it's the main idea). So, no fractals here.
Also, the music is a terrible ripoff ^^ and the game is quite unelegant. Sorry.

What the hell am I supposed to do?

there isn't even a game, you just hit next until the computer crashes.

It's not very entertaining to sit and watch generating glowing lines. I mean, yeah, around seventh level, it looks kinda nice from the distance, but that's simply not enough. There is no goal in the game, which is rather pointless and begin to lag in higher levels (not to mention button "do it all" doesn't build it to the shiny thing like the "quick" button).
I can't really think of any improvements, but current state just don't work for me. Perhaps if it was to be made as click'n'drag game, where you could do at least some pictures... anyway, good luck next time!
