I "completed" this game in about... 8hours? yes, it was my first LD, with a LOT of pauses, checkin the official blog to see what people are doing and looking for some guides..
The game is broken, its not fun, since is not completed.. my concept was, your gf is talking to you, but you are using your phone all the time, you have to click to close some facebook, twitter notifications while shes talking to you and she asking you stuff from time to time and you just have to say yes.. yep, that was the concept for connect worlds! :D
Feel free to suggest improvements or how I should have done it lol!
This LD challenge was a great experience, I learned some extra tricks for C2 (which im gonna use to make other games) and I feel that every broken game I make brings me closer to a real game!

No penalty for clicking when you shouldn't. no start screen. No sound. No tutorial or direction of any kind. No way to win or pause or really anything other than click the colored thing and let the score go up or not click it and let it go down. wouldn't call it a game.
To be helpful, I'd say definitely add sound. Alternate the speed and the style of the texts or whatever those blocks are supposed to be. Maybe make it so you lose more than one point for missing a block? remove point system and add a bar that starts in the middle and goes up or down depending on how well you pay attention to her. maybe she talks constantly and then asks you questions about what she said at the end of each round. If you go with that you should also make her expression change depending on how you do. Also penalize the player for not clicking at the right time.
It definitely needs something.
Comment: Since this isn't complete it should not be on newgrounds. Review: needs music better art, better animation (something better than to moving lines, create a plot. Advice: write a script for your game so it can go somewhere
Hi!
Please keep trying!
