You need to be fast because it only depends on your accuracy and sense of reaction. Catch as many green flyers, green birds, as possible and avoid the black ones. If you let the green flyers go off screen you lose points. If you get hit by the black birds you lose energy until you reach a critical level and any more hit the game is over.
This is an amazing concept for a unique indie title. If you could add more depth into the game itself, like a fully worked story, difficulty options and different style of backgrounds and more music you will be a guaranteed success to those who are more open to games like this.

This game has a good concept. You could do a lot more with this. Maybe a story, different levels, power ups (like something to repel the black flies sometimes).
