*floored* This is cinematic excellence. While the foreground art clashes slightly with the amazing background art, the flow is still great and the scenes are marvelously done. The foreboding music, the mysterious maligned figure, the boy's naiveté...it smacks a bit of Rodrigo Blaas's 2009 animated short, Alma -- but veers into a much vaguer territory, leaving us to wonder if the 'monster' joker figure is truly malevolent or not. Or just what the heck we just watched. There is truly a sense of wonder about it, which sort of ties back in with the element of childhood innocence, here.

Jingly hats off to you, sir. I hope this was just as well received by your professor and classmates. You've got the beginnings of a great filmmaker, you know. Here's hoping you find your path to well-renowned success!

Vallhemn responds:

Wow, thanks for the great in depth response! :) I was looking at Alma when doing my research to be honest. It's a great animation - so much atmosphere! I actually ended up getting a 1st in my degree, with this animation just about pushing it over to top marks.
I think the only think I wanted to change was to have more time so I could focus on certain shots a bit more, but now I've finished Uni I can spend a lot more time on new projects like 'INC: Copycats', the sequel to my second year animation, 'INC'.

Thanks again for the kind words and review, it keeps me driven knowing people like my stuff! ^_^

um how to describe this hmm oh here WHAT IN THE WORLD DID I JUST WATCH!

Vallhemn responds:

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it! More on the way :)
