Another practice animation using Adobe products such as Photoshop CC 2014, After Effects CC 2014, and Audition CC 2014.

Max Sully is the kid running in the woods, because something big is following him. He soon realizes the big M&M Thingy is actually nice.

Alright let's go back a little. I was illustrating the second scene just for fun, and soon wrapped a short story around that. I work for a marketing agency called the Field Group and our logo sort of looks like an M&M so just decided to illustrate a big M&M on scene 4. The second scene shows Max Sully with his eyes wide open as if he's scared for what's coming, so I had to think what was he doing right before that scene. I wanted something with movement but I don't want to put to much work into this, so I animated a silhouette run cycle in Photoshop. Then I needed a scene after the big guy smiles, so I wanted to show Max start off frightened but then realize "oh, he's smiling." then I wanted an ending scene with both together using the same elements of trees and background throughout the short story.

Scenes, Color adjustments, special effects, layer motions,and Camera movements were done in Adobe After Effects CC 2014. All illustrations, movement animations (like running, smiling) were done in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. Basically These were illustrations on separate layers and then controlled in After Effects, and only certain things animated with Photoshop.

I also took some extra time to do the sound production. Adobe Audition is the software I used.
