Author's Notes: This lovely short was made by me. It's mainly practice for the main series that I hope to get into full swing later this year. It's somewhat old, I made this earlier in the year. I posted it just on Youtube before, but I felt that I should try my hand at Newgrounds. Something I wanted to do for years but just never got around to it. I hope you enjoy it, I would also love to hear your critics so I may improve in the future.

I loved the voice acting and the script. Classic really. The style was clear, and the level of animation was pretty consistent throughout. The only thing I would suggest is cleaning up the intro a little. It's tough, but the advancing/fading transition through the trees seemed like it could have used a little more detail.

Thanks for the info. I animate in Flash 8, so a lot of the tricks are harder to do in it. I believe the Fade was done in post when I had my buddy do the sound editing for it. I'm working on improving everything, just need to hit the tutorial scene a bit more I feel. I hope to have everything perfect by the next cartoon, I'm hoping that it will be out rather sooner then later of course.

I can definitely see the talent here. While there are some things that could be improved upon, such as the clean smooth animation, but I think the background could have used a bit more detail, but the detail is definitely shown with Naomi's hair moving as she pulls back on the bow string. The voice of Victor seemed the have a little audio echo or reverb to it, as it didn't seem fully crisp and clear. Overall, a cute simple gag that's relatively original, and it's done well. The chirping birds in the background are a very nice touch.
